NEW! Equine Kinesiology Taping 1-day Workshop $400.00

This 1-day Workshop in Equine Kinesiology Taping is offered to horse owners, trainers and therapists who would like to learn some basic applications to help horses with minor conditions.

The Workshop is taught by Dr. Sybille Molle, DVM, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Certified Equine Rehabilitation Therapist.  Dr. Molle was the original creator of Kinesio Tape’s Equine Program for Dr. Kenzo Kase.  Dr. Molle  attended the CERT program at Animal Rehabilitation Institute (ARI) in 2010 and the human taping program of Kinesio Taping Association (KTA) in 2011 when she became the first worldwide veterinarian to earn the title of Kinesio Taping Instructor. Since 2012, she taught equine Kinesio taping method for KTA until 2016 and in 2018 she came back to ARI with an updated program that was offered online + 2-days live lab until the fall of 2025. Since 2026 the certificate program in equine kinesiology taping is coming back to in-person version with new updates on the techniques and added knowledge that is implemented over time also based on several research projects Dr Molle is pursuing on the effects of kinesiology taping on muscular activity and on its applications in equine rehabilitation. Dr Molle is also lecturing worldwide on the topic of equine kinesiology taping as one of the most accredited experts in this field.

The aim of this workshop is to provide participants with basic knowledge and practical skills to properly use kinesiology taping for different conditions within their everyday practice. Following an introduction on the history and general characteristics of the tape, the theory behind taping applications will be explained. During the hands-on practice, the participants will learn how to apply the tape for muscle facilitation and inhibition as well as applications for thoracolumbar fascial pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and limb support. The applications practiced by the participants correspond to standardized methods for specific clinical conditions for which taping is a helful support without majot risk of contraindications. In any case, the use of taping should not be intended as a substitute for veterinary care and in case no improvement in the condition is reached within 48 hours, a veterinarian should be called.
